Demo of Catalinbread's WIIO RAH into a Cochrane Timmy. Amp: 1976 Marshall JMP MKII. THD Hot Plate, old 4x12 Marshall cab. Guitar: 1982 Gibson Les Paul Custom.

Sony DSC-HX5V, Shure SM57, into the soundcard.

    The Timmy excels in two ways: it has a cleverly designed very musical EQ section, and works very well with other distortion and overdrive pedals being used at the same time.

    I have the RAH WIIO set as a treble booster here, but the distortion flavor designed into the pedal even at low gain settings remains. The Timmy is making the RAH louder and dirtier while the EQ section lets me prevent the bass from "flubbing" out and the high end from getting buzzy.

  • What does the Cochrane Timmy do exactly? Nice video man, I love your demos!
