Can I ask that you please review what you copy and paste before posting.
I'm sorry for having to make you look like an idiot by providing you the definition of what you just wrote.

The IWC does allow a certain number of Whales to be killed for scientific research but the IWC also declared that particular part of the ocean to be a marine sanctuary for Whales. The japanese use one IWC ruling as an excuse to hunt Whales, but dispute the other IWC ruling as "not binding". They pick and choose the laws they wish to follow. The Sea Shepherds try to prevent the whaling under UN GA RES 37/7: World Charter for Nature which specifically allows persons or associations to take action

Someone has to do something until the governments wake up and take action to avoid the potential crash of our ecosystem. Until then, the Sea Shepherds are the only ones brave enough to be out there raising awareness. The public will see and act too... like Martin Sheen, Bob Barker, Michelle Rodriguez, Sean Penn, Pierce Brosnan, Isabel Lucas, Ady Gil, Gojira, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the entire Steve Irwin Foundation
And special thanks to Brigitte Bardot (for obvious reasons)
