GTAIV PC + Latest Games for Windows Live Update (21/4/09) bug *FIXED*

Latest update for Games for Windows Live is causing horrid stuttering in GTAIV. This is a comparison video showing footage recorded last night (20/4/09) with footage recorded today.
I apologise for lack of sound, but the video recorded last night was taken from some random messing about and didn't warrant having any sound being recorded at the time. Also I'm currently using Windows7 and as yet don't have any video editing software installed, bar VirtualDub. I'm sure you'll survive :)
CPU: Intel Q9550
Graphics : EVGA 9800GTX+
RAM: 6 Gig Corsair Dominator
Operating System: Windows 7
Resolution: 1920x1200
All runs GTAIV at above average settings perfectly fine as the video proves. Better when fraps isn't recording. I'm actually waiting on a EVGA GTX295 graphics card to be delivered to my door today...how's that for a slap to the face :(
*Problem has recently been fixed via an update to GFWL*
GTX295 is awesome as well btw :P

IF u have games for windows live can u play with people that have xbox live.>>??? plz reply or tell me some info. and the people that have xbox live are playing from their xobx 360. can i connect and play games with them from my pc that has games for windows live plz tell me .

No you can't unfortunately. All you can do is receive and send messages between Xbox and GFW live.

@gtaiv36 Games like Shadow Run, is a cross plateform game. All games that are for GFWL (Games For Windows Live) are Cross Platform. Like Halo 2, Shadow Run, Dirt 2. and so on.

Not all GFWL games can use cross-platform play. At best you can send and receive messages from Xbox Live to GFWL.
If all games had cross-platform capabilities then there would be major issues with being able to play using mouse and keyboard against someone on a joypad.

Only by a fraction. The GTX295 is effectively two GTX275's on one board. GTAIV however doesn't recognise the card as being two and so you don't get any advantage whatsoever.
Believe it or not but my 9800GTX card runs GTAIV faster and smoother than a GTX295.
