Through religious education people have a greater value for what is just, honorable, and clean over what gives temporary pleasure and temporary profitability. Only religion teaches social values, societies that go astray from religion, go into consumerism and materialism which leads to a market society based on fulfilling desires rather than a market society balanced with discipline and respect and value for the basic things in life and keeping society clean from evils that destroy family.

@Desishikamaru You are ignorant of history. Religion allows stable progress. Loss of religion leads to social disintegration, there were very advanced civilizations in history that disappeared all of a sudden, even in Mohenjo Daro and Taxilla. Go look it up. Being advanced without honoring God does not help us. If you don't even believe in God, then progress won't do anything for you. What is right and wrong is learned through religious education which we lack, even Hindu's. This is the problem.

I think we Pakistanis start speaking truth, stop self-righteousness, hypocrisy and negativity. No one is against us as God doesn't give success to such countries. We have to realize that we have twisted thinking, a wrong perspective on history. We have to stop lying to ourselves, stand up to our rights, become more self-aware, stand up to authority, stop reacting and accept criticism of all sorts without labeling it as unpatriotic to criticize ourselves.
