All these little attacks on Simon Rattle.... Karajan was touch and go throughout his career....

As a librarian I work with the research and writings by and about these musicians and others. I can tell you they are/were learned of their craft and art, studied and finely tuned to their music and the possibilities that lie therein. One does not jump into such a field without intense, persistent, and consistent study, commitment toward sustained improvement and growth.

Huh..Im a hornplayer...warm and mellow enough will not be classified as heroic for me...that horn sound is the true character of heroism" And you can check those Berlin Philharmonic Horns...they are one of the best if not, the best horn section in the planet with Dohr and Baborak...

And you can't even differentiate a stopped horn sound from an open horn sound of the Berlin Phil....I did not say you are wrong...maybe you just do not understand the nature of OUR instrument.....which the Berlin Horns does...

All these little attacks on Simon Rattle would be far more compelling if they weren't riddled with typos, misspellings, and missing words - "rattle keeps going in this direction nobody wont take him down" - retarded. If you can't even get your criticisms and insults in order, you should simply worship even the most lowly public figures.
Karajan was touch and go throughout his career; to endlessly pontificate about his immaculate recordings and their superiority to all others is so fatuous.

To halopez69.
I am not sure if Barenboim sucks at everything. Sure I would consider him as Karajan, I consider him as great as Abbado.

I have yet to like Rattle. Although the strings and the orchestra itself is great, I am not sure if he is conducting his best...
