@mikeyjwf ,you cant possibly believe that can you? Dennis just replaced Ruffin,and you think Dennis would invite him on stage to sing. Why give Ruffin a chance to make you look bad, by making the audience go crazy,because remember the audience knew and loved Ruffin,they didnt know Dennis yet, he was a stranger at that time. This would make fans want Ruffin to stay even more,and want Dennis to leave. David didnt like the fact that he got replaced,even though he wanted to go solo,strange huh,lol.

@BruhMan09 ,David did steal the mic,the Tempts had to hire security to keep him off stage. When they sang Aint Too Proud To Beg and David stole the mic, David got a second chance and was back in the group in real life. Dennis was told that David was coming back,Dennis went back to the hotel to pack up, ready to call it quits,but when David failed to make the second show, he was out for good. And then Dennis was informed not to leave. David would steal the show,Dennis is sugar coating the story

Thanks 4 this!!! Man this is a wonderful experience that Mr D. Edwards shared & just how the interviewer allowed him to hear what awesome work he did..Now that's giving a person/artist his flowers while he can hear, see & smell them.. if u know what I mean!! Thanks Mr. Dennis Edwards!!

You can say what you want About David Ruffin and it's all deserved but you acan't take anything from This Man Dennis Edwards He stands on his own. Watch him on the in the studio clip and you will see that even today he can still make hits.
