He said that in a couple of years they will make smaller and lighter ones, then in a couple of months Apple Inc comes out with the iPhone. LOL!

Its a UMPC not ba PDA Phone . The difference being the Shift has an IBM PC processor so it can run desktop operating systems .
It also is the first device to feture dual processors (X86 and ARM) which allows it to switch between Windows Mobile (3 day battery life) and a desktop operating system .
The shift is a winner , Well worth the money.

I respect Steve Ballmer but he doesnt have that evangelizing spirit when he talks about technology like Gates, Jobs, or the google guys, and many others i could mention. I hope that doesn't hurt the future
