joj kako je Šele smuljao ovu loptu, sećam se ovog gola ko da je juče bilo, a na prvoj tekmi sam bio, kad je D.Savić zabo iz slobodnjaka, eh te godine, kakve utakmice, kakav pohod ka tituli Uefa kupa i na kraju taj usrani Simonsen i onaj tragični Jurišić koji malo malo pa da sam sebi gol...eh...

Jeste imali smo tim,ali niko da napomene da smo tada IMALI NAJBOLJEG TRENERA-Branka Stankovica "Ambasadora"-Oni stariji znaju da pod njegovim vodstvom Zvezdina igra nije bila uobicajna (tehnicka i pravljenje cetvorougla)-pa pogledajte ove snimke iz 1978/79-on je napravio jedini tim svih vremena sa ovih prostora koji je mogao 90 minuta da trci kao prvi mitus-ostali-60 minuta,zato smo i stigli u finale.Pa on je bio prvi moderni bek-tj prvi bek koji je isao u napad,nabacivao i nikad nije stratovao

Yes, I did sing that song, along with some about Cyrille Regis (no. 9, scored our goal that night).

For some reason, the West Brom team (one of the top 2 or 3 in England at the time) did not play quite as well that night as they had done for the previous 6 months.

About 500 Red Star fans made it to West Brom that night. They travelled all the way from Yugoslavia on old buses and coaches... a truly heroic effort!! They bounced up and down all night, even when West Brom scored.

I was watching this game on TV taht night, and I remember that during the game while Red Star still were loosing ( before Sestic scored his spectacular goal) I saw one kid with his parents, he was happy and singing " Show me a motion, sha la la la".

Da, ali revans sa Borusijom i neverovatan pritisak zvezde, koliko se secam Borusija je dala gol iz penala na pocetku i onda ih je Zvezda celu utakmicu saterala u cosak, tu su padale stative i precke i velika nepravda. Zvezda je tada bila ubedljivo najjaca, a pravda za to je stigla tek 1990 kada realno nije bila bolja od Olimpika ali je dobila isto onako kako je nju dobila Borusija, svi stali na gol i napravili zivi zid...

Kakav je car bio  Sele!Po onakvoj kaljuzi da onako izkontrolise loptu i na kraju im ga zavuce,to je samo on mogao. A imali smo tim....uh dali cemo skoro imati takav?

Great one, I was also there as 12yr old with my Mum. Still remember the game and the atmosphere, great being able to watch it again. Regular follower and take my 12yr old son so hopefully breeding a new generation of Baggies. Boing Boing
