I'm not talking her down in any way, but I'd bet that in this situation, your adrenaline is pumping so much that once it's happening you do what your instincts/training tell you to keep yourself safe and make sure the car isn't going to catch fire or anything. She might not have even felt the broken rib until everything settled back down.
Tough crash, glad she wasn't injured any worse.

There has to be a way to keep visors down in this situation. I see them come open all the time in open wheel crashes and that is not good.

nasty crash, you know its bad when the visor goes up, but breaking ribs happens all the time in karting nbd, but at least when we crash we arent locked in... glad shes alright, really wish she would have gone further in her career

@BoberMcBoberson shes pretty tough considering that she just broke her rib and just began reaching for switches like it was nothing

Yup ouch, She actually broke a rib in that crash. She deserved more credit than she got, but when everyone found out about, her relation ship with Ray Evernham it pretty well put the kibosh on her career.
