  • @martynrobin121 We lost 75,000 at Bataan not 95,000. In either event it is our greatest military defeat in our history. The U.S. Army had 1 million men in France by November 1918, although we caught the end of the war, the presence of the U.S. military was as psychologically uplifting to our allies as it was devastating to the Central powers. The real unsung victor of WWI was the Royal Navy. Britain's blockade caused German society to crack before her army ever did.

  • @TheGary1882 You're an idiot. Lining up men to walk into machine guns was a short term reaction to a war that had NEVER BEEN FOUGHT BEFORE, retard. Do you think they had books detailing how to fight industrial wars in 1900? No. And you can talk, because when the Americans entered the war in 1918 they fought using exactly the same tactics as the allies did in 1914, which explains why you failed at every battle you fought during the few short months you were in France!

  • Great Losses on the Black Day was caused from a new german tactic to use MG.They made MG-Entrenchments which was some meters ahead the normal frontline Trench and always 2 Mg fired into a predefined "Death Zone".1 Mg from the Left the other from the Right in a X..Shape flanking Crossfire. This caused the 20,000 dead on 1 Day

  • @realityright 2 is true, I know a lot of history. I'm a history nut. The Germans, Britans, and French were about to sign a treaty right when we Americans went in. In reality, most of the nations who signed the Treaty of Versailles had a lot of doubts that the treaty itself would promote peace. Britain and the US actually was verbally against the treaty.

The Germans knew warfare, because throughout history of where the Germanic states now reside, they been fighting each other and outsiders...

  • Hey queenie, Nusbacher, heeEEy...wink wink

  • Germans fought on both lines.

    And they are still here.

    All hail the Germans.

  • Two things:

    1. Ignore the idiot Americans. Most do not even know basic history and who they voted for.

    2. Do no think that ALL Americans are morons, some of us know history very well and can recognize an idiot in just a few words.

  • @THthefirst Bollocks. The German advance to Paris failed because it left the German troops even more exhausted than they had been before. Combined with the royal navy blockade which starved German troops to breaking point, there was no way the Germans could have won the war by 1917, in fact defeat by at least 1919 was certain.

  • @TheLiberalKnight American troops played a key role in helping stop the German thrust towards Paris, during the Second Battle of the Marne in June 1918. General Pershing commanded more than one million American and French combatants. In these two military operations, Allied forces recovered more than two hundred square miles (520 km²) of French territory from the German army.

  • @theone1087 "Hitler could have launched a full scale invasion as late as 1943"???

Absolute rubbish. You are making up history as you go along. He was defeated in the Battle of Britain by the British wimps, fighting overwhelming odds, defeating the Luftwaffe. As a result, Operation Sealion was called off.

It makes me laugh at the ignorance and stupidity of Americans. You really don't have a clue.

I imagine you are also an attention-seeker. So well done, you got some attention.
