The original 60s Parlophone recording band The Scorpions - Ted Barber (guitar), Ivor Knight (drums), John Barber (Guitar) along with more recent band member Keith Strickland (Bass) reformed for a fund-raising event - The Redhill & Reigate Live Festival 2010.

This year's event involved 20 simultaneous gigs on Friday 4th June 2010, in the Redhill & Reigate area. The festival was organised to promote our local bands and pubs and raise money for the Children's Trust in Tadworth, Surrey.

The Scorpions hadn't played together for over three years and despite not having a single rehearsal, played a great set of standard rock classics, along with some of their original recordings of the 60s.

It turned out to be a great evening. The weather was perfect, the audience were fantastic and the landlords of The Old Oak, Pauline & Colin Batt, were marvellous hosts.

Enjoy watching these videos which capture the unique sound of The Scorpions and the mood of this special evening.

Many thanks to Ray Liffen who recorded all the videos and who kindly gave permission for them to be reproduced.
