Bullocks or not, fishermen do need fish. Sanctuaries will help secure those.
And as for this protest being pointless: I believe it is meant to be symbolic. We watch it; we start talking.
Seems to be working quite well.

@wildwasser they allready have that inforce. The sfpa can close an area down as big as 10 x 10 miles for 3 weeks. And they probably have 30 areas closed all the time ongoing. Theres alot greenpeace aint tellin ya.

Why does Greenpeace have a website and a Youtube account when the Internet contributes to high carbon emissions?

@TheAMVV12 Greenpeace UK's site is hosted on servers powered by renewable energy. This Youtube site is not, as far as I know. We are aware of the issue of high CO2 emissions from server farms, and are currently pushing Facebook to host their operations using renewable sources. Not ideal, but some progress is being made, and in terms of environmental damage, mass communication via the web is still far less intrusive than chopping down trees for paper etc.

@adamuk161221 Greenpeace actions are never violent, adamuk161221, it's against our core principles - so if there are videos out there of the nature that you suggest they are in no way connected with us.
