Natural Light - A claymation I made for Savanijam, a 24 hour animation competition here at SCAD. It was super intense, but worth it... it won!

Winner of "Best In Show"

Thanks Savanijamers!

  • So I'm assuming you go to SCAD, how is it as a university? I want to go there for film, and maybe animation or something like that, and it seems like a great school! How is it also, in terms of the area? thanks!

  • @BubbleCloudFilms It's a good school. It's really pricey, but no matter what, I'd say apply and show the best work you have as they give out decent scholarships to those with good grades and good artwork. The Savannah area is cool, and the Atlanta area is as well. It depends on if you want to live in a big city, or a more spread out location like Savannah. Savannah was the right choice for me, and definitely study abroad at some point if you can, Lacoste is amazing.

  • Very nice & smooth!

What camera did you switch over to?

  • Thanks! I now use a Canon Rebel XS dslr camera.

  • Awesome claymation and great sound effects, did you finish this all by yourself? I might be doing something like this soon. Was it hard trying to finish it within 24 hours?

  • Thanks! Yep, all myself within 24 hours. Yeah it was intense, the 1 hour nap I had during didn't really give me much extra energy, I was exhausted.

  • this is probably my favorite claymation video of yours so far hahahaha. It made me laugh

  • @Mackmation What kind of artwork and/or film work are they looking for? I always used to make comedy stuff, but I'm starting to look into other genres and such as far as film and animation go, and I'm not sure what their take is on it. Thanks again!

  • hey dude, what clay do you use?

  • <3 the noises. can you tell me what they're called?

  • #CUTE !!

  • Amazing work man, but have you ever played the game The Neverhood? You remind me so much of that game.
