if you wanted straples you need boning and i would put it under not over the other strap and dont alter it yourself

It looks like one side is saggy on the upper torso and it looks like one side is too high

It is a lovely dress the way it is designed. I would not recommend altering it. But instead wear it in the manner it is already designed. I think you will look amazing and be much more comfortable. Beautiful Gown. Hope you had a wonderful evening !
