  • That was awesome :)

  • I grew up watching these beautiful jets, piloted by the RAAF, amazing memory's, these planes made a top fueller running nitromethane sound like birds chirping, they cut through the air like a hot knife through butter and if you saw and heard one over a low pass you would literally shit out of your dick.

They are a symbol of Australia, everybody knows what an F-111 is down under, it's iconic and it should of never have been replaced with the far less capable Super Hornet.

  • Oh God, it sounds like the sound the sky would make if it could orgasm.

  • Beautiful plane

  • It's very sad and unfortunate to see such a great aircraft gone! I thought it would have been ethical to at least replace the aircraft to fulfill a jet fighter dedicated to bombing and long range strike missions

  • read my reply below on u tube so sad this episode in British plane manufacture all for politics on lend lease program

  • yup so sad all politics but Margaret thatcher tried to bring it back but costs had soured and technology had progressed so sad

  • @motorguzzi100 Oh, speaking of which... A mere 10 years after the TSR2 project was cancelled, multiple different aircraft had been put into service in America and Britain that outperformed it in every way. 45 years after it first flew, the SR-71 STILL has not been outperformed in any of the fields it excels at. The only reason it was retired was because of higher operating costs in relation to a time when camera resolution in satellites was high and satellites required little care or funding.

  • @motorguzzi100 PITY that the British government didn't support frivolous spending by investing in a system that barely outperformed a cheaper, proven one. PITY that the TSR2 didn't come close to the speed or maximum ceiling range of the SR-71. PITY it also didn't have the SR-71s stealth capabilities, and that it was slower than the F111. What a shame. All that came out of it was the world's fastest aircraft, who's speed record hasn't been beaten matched it was retired as obsolete 13 years ago...

  • @SmartStrategicGamePT hi there in 2011 Britain are the only country to develop satellite launch capability of missiles from space rendering all planes obsolete. PITY the Americans cancelled British tsr2 project for money in favour of american planes as the american blackbirds would never have been produced the tsr2 outdated everything at that time drones are way forward you don't loose pilots sci fi is just around corner
