Launch of a large transonic class rocket at the Rockets 2010 event in Fredericksburg, Texas in an attempt to break the sound barrier and exceed 760 miles per hour. This rocket stands approximately 8 feet tall. The rocket breaks up into a number of pieces after chute deployment. This rocket is a hybrid rocket, utilizing nitrous oxide as the oxidizer and PVC as the fuel. This launch took place on Friday April 23rd 2010. Video shot in high definition.
