How hilarious, not a single guard or anything covering the blade.

Nice work! I like to throw a few sacrificial sticks across the steel bed of my truck to keep fresh, wet lumber from getting that "Instant Rust" treatment. Especially red oak 'cause the tannins will eat away at the bare steel. Also, I like the "Drive Belt of Death". Guards are for wussies.

This is just an awesome video of Early American Machinery. Well done Guys. I love to watch the Vintage Machinery still working. My friend and I are thinking about adopting the Sawmill at our Museum, so we can bring it back to life for everyone to enjoy. You gotta love the smell of fresh cut lumber.

Watching that guy next to that moving belt gives me the chills. One wrong move, the belt breaks, or his loose clothing gets sucked in, he is a gonner! I know of a person that had both arms pulled off their body! No joke! That machine won't even flinch as he passes through.

What are the boards going to be used for?
My cousin, in the video, makes furniture with his boards and I think this time he plans on using them for a shed. My Dad on the other hand may use it for the corn crib that we moved up to our house.
