@jamesJulian1 Maybe your friends were talking about higher volt batterys. They also make 16 volt batterys and you can also run a 18 volt setup. That might fry your alt. XS Power makes 16 volts batts. To run those you need a volt regulator. Thats when you get into the big big stuff. Optima's just got 12 volt. I do suggest the yellow top and make sure you do the big 3 upgrade. For the first time ever I seen my lights dim with my yellow top last night in my hyundai. I haven't done the big 3 yet

@casperskafs thanks man, one of my boys told me if i put too big of a battery that it will fry my ecu, i dont know why i even believed it, i might just go with optima.since they sell em at the store and im getting tired of waiting on stuff off online lol. for 1000wrms im thinking a yellowtop will do the trick, if it dont do what i want ill upgrade to xs later. i appreciate your quick replys. ...ps some dickhead smashed the side in my civic few nights ago hit and run. im so pissed

@jamesJulian1 Hmm I don't think optima's are just a high price name. I have one in my hyundai and I love it. I haven't gotten a chance to fully test my XS Power battery but in my opinion they are the best but kinda pricey. You can put as many and as big of batterys as you want to any alternator but if you start getting into alot of batterys you really need a better battery. Mechman has some great onces for all cars.

Whats up man, i dont know if you ever found anything on the RCA's but you can just ger 4 female RCA ends, and sauder them into place where the original RCA's were and it would work fine. Although running RCA's out of the side of your amp might not look good, it will get the job done and work fine. and you can get some female RCA's at radioshack, i like your vids, Subscribed :D check mine out when you have time

@Krazykidone22 I actually found some on ebay just like my normal ones. I soldered new ones in and it ended up being a short in the gain on the amp. Imagine that huh LOL. Thanks for the info though
