An explanation why all cultures use the Prayer mudra to manifest desires. (In the video I got the index and middle finger transposed. The correct version is [Index -body, Middle finger - Mind] sorry for the misstatement) The prayer mudra in Shang Ch'ing Taoism is seen as an energetic posture that combines the five dimensions of our being (fingers of the body) with the point on the palm which corresponds with Intent known as the "Lao-Kung Point". when you put your palms together and placed at the heart center one merges the power of these points with the heart which is the seat of the Soul. When we "pray" with this mudra we are actually seeking to unite our immortal divine essence with our earthly desires...
