The problem with Co-op for many years is that it is not value for money. If you look around, they are even more expensive than Waitrose. As a kid, my Mum did all of her shopping at the Co-op because where we lived, it was the main store and it was a big one. Even she went off them in latter years although you can still get some real bargains at times. The worst thing about them is the fruit and veg. Saying that, Asda is as bad when it comes to fruit and veg - it last about 24 hours!

@ShadowHorse999 I used to work at my local Somerfield before it was turned into a Co-Op - a lot of my mates are still there, though, and even they says it's crap!

and in theory being a co-opretive they should be much cheaper!

The eighties was known for bad hair, clothes and wallpaper but good music, tv and films!
