Pani poori is an spicy snack .. under the category of "chaat" .. it is a small crisp poori which is stuffed with a suitable curry and filled with tamarind chutney and eaten.. here is how it is made: take 6 measures of soji, one measure of maida, one measure of wheat flour, a little salt to taste and make a thick dough with water.. allow to set for about half an hour.. then make out a large roti, cut with a cup / lid cap into small disks as shown and deep fry in cooking oil.. cool ( for sometimes upto 5 to 6 hrs in the open ) and then crack one face of the poori ( it will remain crisp ) stuff with a potato curry, fill with a tamarind chutney and
EAT !

  • @Aliza142 i found that when oil is added it makes the pooris soft, not crisp .. and yes, the first ingredient was sooji (also known here as bombay rava, upma rava etc ) cheers ! :-)

  • Nice Video. Thanks for sharing.

what is raba? the first ingredient you introduced in the video. How do you spell it and what do you call it in english?

  • @msjasminek its called semolina in english, and it is wheat ground into a granular powder ...:-)
