Lol, that's what they say every decade. Literally, every decade. Why do people feel the need to bash other decades just to validate the decade in which they grew up in? I don't get it. Great music has come out of every single decade for the past 5,000 years probably, and unless humanity gets wiped out, I don't see human creativity and artistry disappearing overnight. I grew up in the 80's and 90's and cherish that music, but some of my favorite stuff has come out just recently

The 90s was just a magical time. It was pre-9/11 and post-Cold War. There wasn't a whole lot to worry about really.

These guys (and gals) should've been as big as Blur. Speaking of which, the director of this video (David Mould) also directed Blur's videos for Popscene and To The End. Maybe he played matchmaker for Justine and Damon! (har-har)

A passing comment is more like "The 90's was the best decade for music EVER!"

The 90s had some awesome music, but this is not an example of it.

That weird sound during the first few seconds of this tune was taken from Stockhausen's "Gesang der Junglinge." I have a feeling Damon Albarn had a hand in this.

Elastica were sued by many bands for plagarism. Most notably by Wire who said the Elastica song "Line Up" had a similar chorus to their (excellent) track "I am the Fly" and by The Stranglers who claimed that "Waking Up" had ripped off their (magnificent) tune "No More Heroes". Both claims were settled out of court.

Beavis: These naked guys- they're just objects for these ladies to gawk at! These chicks, ought to be ashamed of themselves, and these guys, they shouldn't be here!
Butthead: Uh, would you get naked for them?
Beavis: Hell yeah, I'd take my clothes off if they wanted me to. That would rule.
