World Learning hosted a reception at New York's Rubin Museum of Art on December 10, 2009. The museum provided an exquisite setting for World Learning to introduce its new President and CEO, Adam Weinberg, who presented his vision for the education, training and exchange organization. Many of the 180 people in attendance were alumni of World Learning's premiere exchange programs, the Experiment in International Living and SIT Study Abroad. Christina Monson, academic director
of SIT Study Abroad's Nepal: Social Entrepreneurship in the Himalayas program gave the keynote address. World Learning works globally to enhance the capacity and commitment of individuals, institutions and communities to create a more peaceful and just world.
