Tree Climbing Robot built for Engineering Senior Design Project 2007-2008 Trinity University (San Antonio,TX). This project was built on a limited budget to autonomously climb and rotate around a fixed diameter tree while detecting and avoiding branches using an array of sonar sensors. Built by Stephen Arnold, Robert Lewis, Matt Meador, Amanda Richter, and Matt Saunders.

  • that matthew meador isn't too bright... who the heck wants a robot that can climb trees??? how about a robot that can pick up the dog poop in my backyard and turn it into gold?
