@dqgates At least we still have Richard Heinberg! There are others, Roscoe Bartlett, Colin Cambell, Michael Ruppert and believe it or not Richard Branson!
He's put together a group thats looking at peak oil and actually intends to do something about it. My respect for the man shot up when i found this out.
We do need Simmons and Hubbert though.

@TheD1V1N1TY What are you on about, American oil production peaked in the seventies, thats why your dependant on imported oil, thats why your government watched 9/11 happen and thats why your troops are fighting wars in the Middle East! England isnt different.
The global economy is collapsing because people started playing with too much money that hadnt even been printed yet, not because other countries own your corporations.

wake up america. we are sitting on all that we need to live. yet we buy from other countries, increasing our debt and making them rich. they are buying american assets as we speak. if something doesnt change soon, dont expect the next major corporation in america american owned. we are selling ourself out
