thats how u test it idiot, the glass break detector looks for high and low frequencies at the same time and that coin or nail or watever in the jar made pretty much what the detector needed to set off... cmon second grade stuff

I'll have to try this. I have a glass break detector but have never been able to test it unlike all the other zones. Thanks.

I've set off one of those by jingling coins, and by opening a can of soda...

even with a new glass break or here you have a window bug, door contact ( mounted on the window need protecting) it will do the same thing.. a low and high pitch will set it off...

Thats a really old Moose alarm system. POS in the day, and worse now. And that Glass break is so outdated...no wonder you have that fooled. Spend a few hundred bucks, and get a new system and try it with that

@sighomg You mean the keypad? I have since then. I still kind of miss the old one though, strangely enough.
