Very good job by Elton John; great emotion and passion. But how freakin cool is it to see Mr. John Deacon on bass. John Deacon.....where are you? Thank you for the music.

My God, it's so good to see John Deacon on the stage... How could we lose the best bass player in the wolrd... Such a shame

Freddie sang with unmatched technique but I feel more intimate, raw emotion from Elton. They are both untouchable in their own ways.
It was jolly decent of the band to step down 3 keys for him.

Sir Elton John delivers this melody with all the intensity and love I believe he felt for Freddie. Truly this is one of the best performances of this song.

I kinda love this version /because/ of the way Elton's voice doesn't reach and fill the song the same way Freddie's did -- it feels more like a threnody or elegy, where you feel the grief and ache the band must be feeling.
