My grandparents had a cat that went on the toilet when I was young. Every once in a while my Grandpa would come back from the washroom all upset and in a huff.

"Walter, what's wrong," my Grandma would ask.

"Oh, I can't go because the damn cat's using the toilet again," he would say.

My one cat is really smart, when he was a kitten, he would always watch me and my dad pee in the toilet, after a few weeks, he just taught himself to do it and has been for years :)

It's slow training. First you put the litter box next to the toilet. Then up on some books. Then more books. Then more. Then even with the toilet. Then put it directly on the toilet, only removing it when you need to use it. Then get rid of the box and most figure it out.
