For anyone who hasn't seen this yet, this is one of the best Lovecraft adaptations. Made to look like a silent film that would have been made around the time Lovecraft lived. And extremely faithful to the story. Got the dvd for Christmas 2 years ago, and watch it frequently.

This looks terrible. People who say this is 'amazing' are the same people who like obscure shit just because. They can look at a 30 second clip of black and white film showing a dog take a shit and claim to draw inspiration from it and think it was the most amazing thing they've ever seen. I'm not knocking Lovecraft. His stories are good but this shitburger of a film is only entertaining to those who fool themselves into believing it's entertaining. +1 for the "cool because it's underground" eh?
