  • thank you very much for posting these videos. my boyfriend and i are going to start building ukuleles together and your videos are so very helpful. i have a question though: i love the way quilted maple looks, would it be suitable for the top, and/or sides and/or back of a ukulele?

  • @notacreeperiswear Stick with something very simple ,like 1/4 sawn red cedar or spruce for top and or a all mahogany for back and sides. Save the quilted maple when you are much furher along the road of learning

  • No, they are poorly written . I will be writing one in the next year

  • hi my name is axel im 18 years old, i live in mexico, im very interesting to take a of ukulele bulding clases, can you gime me some imformation of the place and all that stuf please, thx

  • @FlipsMusicDance Hi axel I do not know of any courses in mexico. I would suggest finding a luthier in mexico, who can guide you, perhaps by building a cuatro, or other small instrument. You can also learn by googling amazon.com. There are about 3 books on ukulele making . Hope this helps sincerely ernie

  • @FlipsMusicDance yes but actually i want to go to ur school can you tell me where is it?

  • @FlipsMusicDance I am sorry but I don't run a school at this time.
