http://www.fuzzyfoliage.com Just a little video I took at our show last weekend. It was the first time I ever entered a plant and I got a big fancy rosette and a spot on the winners table--WHOOHOO!

George McDonald (hybridizer of the 'Mac's' series of African violets) did the educational display where it shows all the various plants he got from just one cross--A lotta diversity there, right??

Winners Table:
Best in Show - Buckeye Blushing - David Tooker
Best Trailer - Kissaway Trail - Lenny Winter
Best Miniature/2nd Best In Show - Indigo _____ - George McDonald
Best Semiminiature - Double Berry - David Tooker
Best Gesnariad - Chirita Destiny - Jan Murasko
Best Saintpaulia Species - Ron Ennis
Best Novice - Little Blue Bandit - Ann-Marie "m3rma1d" Keene

Thanks to my friend Shea for helping with all the editing stuff.

Hope everyone loves Chet Atkins and Les Paul!
First song is "Meditation", 2nd is "Deed I Do".

  • @gildyandbirdy well Karma will come back to them they may bring them back if they cant sell them or get them to grow

  • @gildyandbirdy It's a bad idea to put them outside at all. For one, as you learned, the risk of theft. But also the insects/bugs outside can hop on the plants, come in with them, and can wipe out a collection. I would never bring them outside for that reason. When you do rebuild a collection, leave them inside for sure!

  • i like your video pretty awesome =)) keep it up

  • @m3rma1d Me to! I definitely intend to track down some local violet show and check it out.

  • @mayflyon You're very welcome!

  • @2006myangel If only we all had enough room for "one of each"... :-)
