The Steadicam Smoothee™ is specifically designed and engineered to work with your Apple® iPhone 3Gs. Based on the same technology as the big $60,000 rigs used in Hollywood, it allows iPhone 3Gs owners to capture incredible video without the shakes normally associated with hand-held video shot on the go, right out of the box, the very first time.

  • With the iPhone 4 HD, this now makes since. Where can I buy one?

  • I don't understand. Why would someone pay for this when the iPhone camera isn't that great? The money could help pay for a standalone camera.

  • with the new sony lens embedded into Iphone 4S, this solution is really interesting. I already bought a olloclip and I think i'll get a Smoothie. in many configurations, this affordable solution is better than more complex and price solution in hardware or software (time is money )

  • @chrisknappER thanks for the input. Do you think it would be fairly easy to build an adapter for a Gopro or Contour HD sports camera?

  • @dave3030 I think shaky videos are ridiculous.

  • @chrisknappER the iPhone 4's rolling shutter ruins the video quality

  • @chrisknappER yes, I do own one. I still think it's ridiculous.

  • @izleep Yes, there is. The front of the box will indicate which model you are buying. The device itself is the same, however the phone/camera adapter is different for each.

  • @dave3030 The iPhone 4 is actually surprising good for video. Do you own one? Also, you can use the Smoothee with quite a few devices, and also build adapters to use quite a few Point & Shoot cameras, being that the are similar in both weight and dimension.

  • @BedededeII $180. Now at Amazon. The first quantity shipment went out earlier this week. Soon, the word "backorder" will be bandied about.

BTW, the final is much better than the prototypes. Much.
