F-22 Raptor Demonstration

2008 Joint Services Open House
Andrews AFB, Maryland
Saturday May 17, 2008

IN THIS VIDEO, watch as Major Paul "Max" Moga flies the Raptor through a very dynamic demonstration over Andrews AFB. Keep in mind that the aircraft used in the demo profile is in its combat configuration, as opposed to the demos you've seen in Sukhois and MiGs, which are flown in a clean configuration. This is also a new demo profile, which debuted in March 2008.

Like what you've seen? Well, if you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .

  • What does WWII and Hitler have to do with the Raptor??? Why do these comments always have to turn into some political "he said, she said, oh yeah? my airplanes better than your airplane" contest? Who cares about some political BS that happened 60 years ago? We're watching a video of the baddest thing in the sky! Get over it!

  • that's a failed analogy.

ww2 was an era that had literally thousands of allied bombers and fighters going up against lesser but even more massive numbers of Luftwaffe fighters. It was a completely different strategy back then and aerial warfare.

Today's modern technology and fighters don't need to be in massive numbers to win. No military these days has thousands upon thousands of fighters. A dozen f-22 with some f-15 are more than capable of taking on any airforce in the world.

  • @colintraveller do you know how many aircraft we have for war in the middle east? A-10, cobras, drones and apaches so why would we use a jet fighter in war? we are we gonna chase and shoot down talibans in camels....were has the typhoon been in war? against which aircraft?

  • The f22 fanboys must be bealing BIGTIME because the F22 still hasn't lost it's combat zone VIRGINITY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TYPHOON HAS ... SO HAS RAFALE ,,,,,

US build a plane that costs a shit load and yet to make an appearance in the theater of War .. ..because the f22 ain't a fully fledged MRCA

  • all that money spent and the brits can track us with there eurofighter, we are shit !!!!!

  • I love that plane! Also I would recommend watching Su-47 Berkut. Such a pity that Russia can no longer support that project and instead invests into a lousy copy of f 22

  • lo ve pakistan and america
