F-22 Raptor Demonstration
2008 Joint Services Open House Andrews AFB, Maryland Saturday May 17, 2008
IN THIS VIDEO, watch as Major Paul "Max" Moga flies the Raptor through a very dynamic demonstration over Andrews AFB. Keep in mind that the aircraft used in the demo profile is in its combat configuration, as opposed to the demos you've seen in Sukhois and MiGs, which are flown in a clean configuration. This is also a new demo profile, which debuted in March 2008.
Like what you've seen? Well, if you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .

U bitches bein stupid f22 is the most world famous fighter ever created in our universe. It will over come and destroy anything that comes in sight. Either 100-1000000 uavs or1000000 Migs or both together f22 destroys
they didn't cancel it. All they did was put a hold on further future production. The DOD already said we currently have enough to fulfill the current mission.
We will build more in the future. it's just a matter of when.
As of today, the F-22 is the world's best air to air and air to ground fighter. It is also the world's most expensive. It is as much a world beater, if not more so, than the German Me-262 Schwalbe was in the closing days of WWII. Not enough of the Schwalbe's were built to make a difference in the skies over Europe and, at 186 copies (one crashed), not enough Raptors means they too won't make a difference in "the next one". Maybe we should change its name to the Bobby Gates F-22 Schwalbe.
that's a failed analogy. ww2 was an era that had literally thousands of allied bombers and fighters going up against lesser but even more massive numbers of Luftwaffe fighters. It was a completely different strategy back then and aerial warfare.
Today's modern technology and fighters don't need to be in massive numbers to win. No military these days has thousands upon thousands of fighters. A dozen f-22 with some f-15 are more than capable of taking on any airforce in the world.
Pilots are history. We don't need anymore of these old fashion planes which are also utter expensive. It's time to move on to Air combat capable UAV. UAVs have a lot more potential due to not being limited by pilots G-force capability. F-22 on the other hand is useful only against old Russian MiGs. New MiGs are better by every aspect.
they didnt cancel the raptor. if they canceled it then they would have taken all of them and put them in the scrap yard in arizona...but they will stop production in 2011 when the order is complete
