This is one of the early on-air promotions I Produced. Mark Dailey just seemed like a classic crime reporter. I wrote voice-overs for Mark for years. I will hear his voice in my head for the rest of my life. He will be missed greatly.

I can't tell you sir how much by watching this. I miss Marl Dailey with a passion. People like Mark and the brains of Citytv changed the entire face of local televising in a urban place. My earliest memories as a infant involved hear Marks voice on the Citytv promos and he just seemed to be one of those things in my Daily life.

As a 9 year old I still remember Sunday night's watching Citytv great movies and waiting till the end of the movie credits just to hear Mark Dailey make a quick

now this is NOT how you would normally promote a late night newscast (or ANY newscast for that matter)--but it's a promo like this that helped give citytv its unique identity...too bad, they don't make it like this anymore...and worse, "the inspector" is no longer with us (rest in peace, mark dailey)...

I just got back from his public viewing and had the honor of meeting his wife. Watching this just put a smile on my face from a long day. Thanks for posting
