IMATA (international marine aquarium trainers association) claim to be AGAINST the dolphin slaughters in taiji Japan, or any for that matter. But I would like to state some facts. IMATA's dec. 5th conference had aquarium reps from suma Aquarium park in their meeting. On Oct. 5th of this year we were finally able to get video proof linking suma aquarium park to the slaughters! These trainers pay between 150,000 to 300,000 PER dolphin! If it wasnt for the trainers there wouldnt be ANY slaughtering taking place. Japan hardly eats the meat, and only about 3% of Japan even know these slaughters happen. They call it tradition, or cultural when in fact the dolphin Slaughters in Taiji started in mid 1930's! Like I said Japan hardly eats dolphin, and if they do most are betrayed and told it is whale meat! They betray them, because dolphin has DEADLY amounts of mercury. At this current moment, Japan has about 5,000 of dolphin meat stockpiled (frozen) that hasnt been touched. Its not about food, its not about culture, Japan has openly said it is Pest control! they believe these dolphins, who only go by japan to migrate, are eating their precious fish (food)! They cannot come to grips of overfishing and blaming themselves so they blame a migratory animal such as an innocent dolphin (AND BABIES) and sentence them to a brutal slaughter that some take up to 1/2 hour to pass on. 23,000 dolphinsd a year are murdered in Japan for Pest control. BUt i would like to point out, if Japan wasnt getting the money to fund this sport of theirs, they wouldnt be doing it! These aquariums come in and choose 1 or two out of 100 and turn their backs to the ones being murdered. So in one day, when about 98 dolphins are being slaughtered these 26 fishermen, get to split sometimes up to 600,000! IN ONE DAY! Mind you, slaughters happen daily. Back to the point, is IMATA has lied and betrayed alot of people saying they are against these slaughters, when in fact, their hands are just as bloody! As are all associated with them! We ask, if you are TRULY against these slaughters, blacklist IMATA until they blacklist all aquariums associated to these slaughters, and trust me, more are associated we just dont have great video proof like this! The world is watching!

  • I'm in tears watching this video..Japan will pay, again...

  • Thank you Japan..who let us know what bestiality is... :-P

  • IMATA denounces the slaughter and captivity has nothing to do with this act.. If you had any idea you would know that this activity happens because the Japanese view dolphins as "pests" ect. Through educating certain aquariums and marine parks world-wide the conference will take the need away from those facilities to acquire from this act. However I guess you would rather the animal be killed than selected to be put on an educational display. And you say you love animals... haha

  • @giannaluva65

and this video was posted on SeaWorld's blog. Hence by comment. Sorry for the inonvenience.

  • @giannaluva65

According to every anti-cap, driven dolphins end up all over the world, including SW. Which is false.

They end up in a few places such as Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, and Egypt. That's about it.

  • @RingneckDoveFan uh he never said seaworld in specific. Theere are other places that hold dolphins in captivity idiot

  • lmao. Uh sir, those trainers are asian. SeaWorld has no asian trainers, nor are those wetsuits anything like the ones SW has.
