  • Excellent show. Alda's enthusiasm is absolutely contagious.

  • Why do they have to test how cool Alan Alda is? Isn't it obvious hes mega cool.

  • I cant help but feel their enitire funding has a source like Reebok or Wallmart, I tried to email the colleges themselves when I originally seen this to ask (to no avail) . Cool = marketing, not research. Otherwise theyd research the rise of the Nazis and how Doctors Like Heim and Mengula could become killing monsters. i despise cool. My smart phone is smart since it has few buttons and cost me 138.00 for a years amount of service

  • The computer test is highly flawed. It fails to account for deliberate mnemonic devices, or learned ability within the testing tool itself. When the test presented "good" words on the "right" side, it was much easier to respond. It also described ethnicity with "White" and "Black' also holding positive/negative associations of their own, divorced of race bias. White wires are positive. Black clouds bring tornadoes. PUHLEEZE. The test makes for a good laugh. Show me the FMRIs.

  • shiver me timbers hawkeye, we got a high response to crabapple cove when Obama raised the liberal douchebag level to AAnegative. It's that's standard & poors has alwaysblamed fairly responsible people or is the first president to call Rizzo a Creole?

    scientific american frontiers crabapple cove

  • berkeley is the liberal capital on the country not cambridge, it's not even close

  • The woman at 4:16 her hair is not cool.

  • As intelligent as these educators & actors might be "the machine" WILL someday implement a way to exterminate all Humans.

  • It would never occur to most people to try to stop a trolley with a person (even a "big" person). So that's a lame question.

  • 10:40 why does alda feel biased against women of the workplace, but not family of the male? why is he even a feminist.? why should he be? why not be a humanist? represent humanity rather than half of it. otherwise, whats the point of raising boys if they're just going to grow up to be the "M" word?

  • @sfmike20 i agree, gender roles have been so biforcated as to lead to the term "opposite sex." rather than "complementary sexes." male and female will definitely score differently in this test, but as people we are if anything, authentic. the idea of the test is good, but needs improvement.
