Another movie clip from Barbarosa (1982) starring Willie Nelson and Gary Busey. In this scene, Barbarosa and Karl attend a horse sale but their fun is interrupted by a confrontation with Pahmeyer, father of the man Karl killed in self defense.
It was filmed in and around Big Bend National Park in Texas. They thank the park service in the credits. That adds to the realism. A lot of Westerns are made in Canada to save money, and when the action is supposed to be on the Texas/Mexico border, you can tell the difference.
This and another Willie Nelson flick (Red Headed Stranger) IMO are two of the best Westerns ever. This one was really fairly accurate with the Busey character, as the hill country of Texas attracted lots of European immigrants. Karl, Emil, Auguste.... I need to get it on DVD. I wore my VHS tape out.
I have the link to watch the whole film "Barbarosa" or down load it on my channel.
Best western ever made. Thanks Willie.

@uofmrebel Wasn't this shot in Australia, or at least it was an Australian production?
