The Miller:
When a loyal heart
Perishes from love,
The lilies wither
in every field;
The full moon must hide
itself in the clouds,
So people won't see
its tears;
And the angels close
Their eyes
And sob and sing
His soul to peace.
Der Bach:
And when love frees
Itself from pain,
A little star, a new one,
Twinkles in the sky;
And three roses spring,
Half red and half white,
That never wither,
From the thorny stem.
And the angels cut off
Their wings
And every morning
Go down to earth.
The Miller:
Oh brook, dear brook,
You mean so well:
Oh brook, but do you know
What love does to you?
Ah, below, down there,
The cool repose!

Each time I find a Valentina performance on youtube it has what I would say is the most natural tempo and expression ie. perfection. Thank you so much, Great inspiration for freedom of expression of the arms, unlike watching many men play which is like they have held the piano captive for their interpretation.

I listen to this over and over and then I play by ear on my Yamaha p95 electronic keyboard in my apartment. You are the essence of inspiration; of the pinnacle of piano excellence and accomplishment. I live in Vancouver BC so if you ever play anywhere near where I can come to your performances....it will be one of the highlights of my life. My deepest regards and appreciation for your devotion to be most likely the most graduated skilled pianist of our time....in my opinion !!
