I'm 17 and have been on 1 Holland America, 1 Carnival (imagination) and 3 Royal Caribbean cruises.

I recently got off the Enchantment Christmas Eve and I cannot stop thinking about cruising. The staff at Royal Caribbean were so nice and welcoming! They offered so many activities for kids through their Adventure Ocean youth program, I enjoyed myself and can't wait to go on a summer cruise:) Carnival just reminded me of alcohol....SO MANY DRUNK IDIOTS.

@MrSfx300 it actually does you could get food when ever you want.... Royal Caribbean is amazing (in my opinion) they also have good food and a teen lounge. get your facts straight

I have just completed my 14th cruise (13 Royal and 1 Carnival). I'm really not sure where people are getting there costs from. Royal Carribean is very comparable in price to Carnival for the same accomodations. I think that most people have a hard time making this comparison. My Carnival experience (carnival Miracle) was good just not great. It didn't have that Royal touch. The ships, service, entertainment and food are no comparison. @luvs2fly, you want to give Royal a second chance.

Just got off the Allure of The Seas - Royal Caribbean International this morning! I have been on Carnival Cruise Ships more times,which were fun times! But I have have to say that Royal Caribbean is much better! RCI has the upper edge.

i like both cruises RCL is more upscale and has more activities and has nicer ships especially the oasis of the seas, i want to go on that ship so bad, but carnival is very fun and has enough of activities to keep you busy all day, and pretty much on RCL you pay twice as much as carnival for a rock wall and an iceskating rink. Both ships have great crew and service and good food.

i have been on 9 carnival and 1 Royal caribbean (freedom of the seas) carnival was far better for service (come on, why was my water glass empty in the dining room for 20 minutes royal? never empty on carnival) never met the room steward as you would on carnival, food was terrible which did surprise me on Royal. no more royal caribbean for me...carnival cruise #10 next week!!

Sure royal caribean has bigger ships but it also costs almost twice as much and the staff on carnival is much better. Carnival is the best!

Cruises are all about food and service...don't tell me you're coming on a cruise to see Mexico and all that stuff.

Some people live on the ships cos its a cheaper way of living for them and they're treated like kings at the same time,because at home he cant eat 5 lobsters and drink a 20$ bottle in a restaurant.Now...i know that the lobsters are small,but even before when they were bigger,they were still ordering at least 3.

As long as they pay the waiter i dont mind them eating 10 if they want.
