SHITDISCO FIGHT SOUNDMAN ON STAGE

SHITDISCO playing Rock N Roll Cinema at the Hackney Empire on 15th July 2006. At the last song, they ask the soundman repeatedly for the guitar to be turned up in the drummers monitor, the soundman responds by getting on the stage and headbutting singer, Joel Stone. Drummer Darren Cullen jumps in swinging a mic stand followed by a cymbal stand; Joel hits him in the back with a guitar. The soundman limps away and is sacked on the night.

message to all bands, get stage splitters and a small desk to run your own in ears/wedges from, trust me you'll never have to encounter an incompetent twat ever again :) happy days, it takes 10 mins to rig up unlike the hour long battle of bad attitudes and jobsworths that is 99% of moniter guys,, even front of house hate you!

the problem is that you moniter mixers dont know right from left and what instrument is on what channel it isnt rocket science and there are too many bands that end up sellin the crowd short because you fuck things up,, they cant do a good show because of shit moniters and not being able to hear a fuckin thing, good on the lad for speaking up and not puttin up with the offstage wankery
