Is Irish Blogging dead? We hit the streets of Dublin to find out.

The intro video for the Irish Blog Awards was based on/taken from Charlie Brooker's "How to report the news" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHun58mz3vI, scripted by Anthony McGuinness (http://www.doyouknowanto.com), shot and edited by Jen Davis (http://www.thatsjentertainment.com) and starring people from the streets of Dublin.

Thanks to everyone involved, especially Miriam O Callaghan for the cameo, to Jen for her amazing work on this and the Irish Blog Awards Team for allowing it to play.

Thank you Charlie Brooker, Newswipe and BBC - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00qbyth

  • Is this an intentional rip off of screen wipe? Because it's scene for scene.

  • Heya, yes, pretty much completely intentional. Pulled together in 4 days so we went with what we could, how we could :)
