Abridged Second Life Mesh Workflow

This is a Basic Abridged Second Life Mesh Workflow, demonstrating the method, and the form from creation of a basic non-rigged Mesh to import into Second Life.

The video involves modeling, UV mapping and Exporting Timelapses, and then general look in SL Mesh Beta. Its not however a tutorial to use for creating a mesh model in blender, but shows an overview instead.

I didnt have a mic to do a proper VO, but I think the text is sufficient.

when i do it, the upload button is grey after i have pressed calculate weights and upload fee :( there is also no price.

@ankzmoviez Recently, You have to do the Intellectual Property Rights quiz as well as have payment info on file to upload meshes to the grid now. This is the only way they are making sure one who uploads the meshes to the grid do understand the rules to uploading.

that's kinda shitty. i just want to try uploading model and maby in the future sell them but i don't want them to know my payment info. but thanks for the help.

@ankzmoviez Unfortunately, they have to have some form of insurance that you wont upload just a run of a mill model, so if you do upload something that you ripped from a game, they can just say that "it wasnt made by them but this guy" under DMCA.

Very nice tutorial. Although I always just go with "auto generate" seems to work pretty well.
