There's a new way to shop in London - The People's Supermarket - inspired by a co-operative in New York - is run by the people for the people offering a non-profit making, corporate free shopping experience.
Just happen to catch 1 of the episodes on T.V and I must say that the idea sounds good,I try and avoid going to the major supermarkets and try and shop at places where the food is fresh and not treated with chemicals, but there hard to get to.
Why the fuck did we have to wait for New York to do this. Check out "The Take" 2005 (La Toma). The people in Argentina took over their work place when the boses declared there was no profit. Now they earn $500 per month and the workers control everything via vote. Everyone gets paid the same because there is no greedy boss.
@noor729 Sorry to say, but if it wasn't for "capitalism", this store would never exist.
