Japanese food has many types of beans and salads. Made with mayo, soy sauce and milk, this one is extremely simple.

  • Tomoko is my wife and the videos are shot in our apartment in Kobe. Subtitles would be great but they are a bit time consuming. If we decide to make more videos into a sellable product we would definitely include subtitles.

  • Great videos, but if I may, I'd like to suggest you lower the volume of the bg music -- Tomoko's voice isn't very loud in the video, and the music makes it even harder to hear. Also, in some of the videos the instructions don't come across too well, so it might be helpful to include tips/elaboration/translation as overlaying text.

Cheers! Keep up the good work :)

  • After hearing all of the comments about the music we'll probably scrap the music during the cooking portions. Thanks so much for your comments...keep 'em comin'

  • Thanks for the recipe. I like the music playing in the background. Could you tell me what it is exactly?

  • At this point I can only tell you it's The Yoshida Brothers. I can't remember what song.

  • Looks great and easy too, are you still taking requests? Can you do goya champuru? I love bitter foods!

  • It just so happens my mother-in-law makes this very well. I'll see if Tomoko can do it for you.

  • What type of mayo is that?

  • Yea looks more like 1/4 cup to me

  • is that really 1/2 of mayonnaise? i think she used less than that

  • Your wife's talented, she's amazing! She sure knows how to cook food! great video, it definetely deserves a 5/5.

  • She said little milk not noodle milk. lol

  • noodle milk?

  • Mmmm yummy! I take it normal milk cant substitue for noodle milk?

  • 구지 음식이라고 말하기는 좀 그렇치만, 하나하나 까먹는 재미가 있을듯하네요.:)
