As a Catholic I really don't care if members of protestant sects believe I am a Christian or not. It's not their business.

@Humbertusmarius And actually you're more Christian than they'll EVER be

Anti-Catholics huh? That is not very Christian!

God help you is all i have to say

@Button36 Do you have any good reading material on the Orthodox (Russia)?
-
I am not a Catholic (LDS actually), but what kind of complete nonsense is this? What's the use of trying to define Catholics as non-Christians?

@Button36 The NIV is the most inaccurate of the major translations in the world today. It was a translation produced for evangelical Christian only. In terms of contextual content and basic translation, the NJB is probably the best translation currently available.

@mikeellerbeck This is wonderful news!!! I´m so glad that your leaving those "make believe churches" I suggest you be part of Roman Catholicism. If you need help or want to know WHY you should be catholic you can tell me. I´ll be happy to guide you to the path of truth: The Catholic Church!!!!

@mikeellerbeck Please my brother, do not be deceived. Join the roman catholic before it is too late.It is only the catholic church that has the Eucharist which is the heart of the church. Jesus founded the holy catholic church and made peter the first pope 2000 years ago. Jesus also celebrated the holy Eucharist in the last supper before good friday. martin luther was the founder of protestanism 500yrs agodue to lack of understanding. Some good pastors recommend it for christeand.
I'm working an ANOTHER video by almost the same title. Since I can't call it Are Roman Catholic Christians, I'm calling it, What it takes to be a Christian, or What it takes to be Christian. Probably the latter. He mentions the tracts in that series, too, but this series focuses less on the tracts and more upon what criterion are necessary to be called Christian.

I've been a Protestant my whole life. But now I'm seriously considering becoming Catholic. I can see that I've had misconceptions my whole life and after research, I can definitely see that the early church did not practice "Protestantism". My parents do not understand why I'm considering this but I hope I can explain myself to them. I'm still researching and deciding between Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy, but I'm definitely finished with Protestantism. Thanks for these videos!

@mikeellerbeck A lot of the Eastern Orthodox Churches are already in union with Rome, that is, they are a Catholic Church. They're just not a Roman Rite. An example would be the Byzantine Rite. There's also almost unanimous agreement amongst the Orthodox Patriarchs (with the exception of Russia) that the schism that occurred in the year 1000 (approximately) should end and the Catholic and Orthodox churches should reunite. May as well be Catholic, IMHO. God bless! Any ?'s email me.

@mikeellerbeck I have a big article on the Orthodoxy/Catholic reunification movement on my website. Go to Catholic Digital Studio, click on Videos, select The Miracle of Damascus. The article attached to that video series discusses that ecumenical movement and I've tried to keep it updated. The video deals with a mystic whose messages dealt heavily with ending the schism between the Orthodox and Catholic Churches.

@Button36 Basically, Mike, whatever you do, just search for the Truth. This should be the NUMBER ONE reason you join any church. That would be a good explanation for your parents, and if they're reasonable people, which I'm sure they are, they'd respect that.
