Well I finally finished the whole train! (well besides some minor decals on the cars...)

But that's not the exciting part, I've decided to start making models of the train itself and the RR Delorean and I'm going to auction them off to anyone on eBay! Stay tuned and I'll put up a video about it.

  • well if you don't like Tyco motors Take it out & replace it with a better one ;-)

  • There isn't many choices because none fit, and if they do, they don't work because of the way this particular loco picks up the electricity from the track.

  • Im thinking about building 1885 Hill Valley also. Im new to model railroading and I just saw the Back to the Future series this past August and I was inspired. I think it will be a bit hard though. Lol. I dunno how imma build the under construction clocktower. Or the trestle bridge cuz I don't even know how to do that. Lol. I've got a long way to go.

  • Go for it! I mean hell I won't be able to build my model until I get a stable place to live for quite a while and not to mention some cash. Trestles are super easy, I mean just go out and get some balsa wood or more stable wood sticks from your local hobby store, cut them, then tack them in place. Sure it will take some time but once your done it looks amazing, especially if you paint and weather it, and just use the same basic idea for the courthouse clock tower.

  • Why didn't you go to bachmann and get a 4-6-0 with sound and a diamond stack and a box headlight? it would save you time and money instead of pouring your money into that TYCO model!!!

  • Because the Tyco/Mantua model is more accurate than bachmann's models when it comes to the Rogers built ten wheelers.

  • what model train was it again? and what size did you make?

  • veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy gooooooooooooooood

  • @infamousboxman Why would I have one on the carriages? The locomotive is the only sexy little thing that needs one of those. ;)

  • I would suggeest kaydee realistic couplers. Just a thought that would bring this model even more realistic.

  • @DafAnimationStudios- how much would it cost me for you to make the whole train?

  • Dude this is AWSOME!!! Like seriously, this is so awsome. But what are you gonna use for the Hill Valley , cardboard, wood, toy building that are close to the building in Hill Valley?

  • Not to be a little overcritical but the third passenger car ( the one coupled to the caboose) is supposed to be longer than the other 2 and of the 47'-50' variety.

  • he sounds a little like Hiccup and the guy from Sorcerer's Apprentice. LOL love this train set man!

  • should have a delorean bogey
