Liberty High School Talent Show 2009 : Drum Solo

This is my brother playing the drums at our school talent show. He has autism, which is a pervasive developmental disorder of children, characterized by impaired communication, excessive rigidity, and emotional detachment. To put it in more simpler words, he kinda tends to think a bit like he's younger than he seems. He can sometimes act like he's still in elementary school, and play with toy cars. He tries to act like he's an adult, but because of what he has, he still can act like he's younger. Right now, he's 18 years old. I feel that what he has isn't a disability. It's what makes him a great musician. What I find amazing is that he can just listen to a song ONE time, and he'll play it on the piano in less than 20 minutes. I'm not kidding when I say that. He has a wonderful imagination. He can play guitar, piano, and drums. He began playing since he was three years old, with my mom's pots and pans. He's always dreamed of becoming part of a band, or creating his own DJ. He's just amazing. I love him sooooo much, and I hope he can achieve his dream as a musician. Please rate and comment.
