love this song but i love it by kenny loggins only because he's voice sounds like the old r&b singers suppose to sound and it very womanly like with soul.

No comparison. Kenny Loggins is the master of this song. I don't think anyone will ever be able to do it with the same soul and depth.

This song is so beautiful. When he sings the verse "celebrate me home" I think of the time when Jesus told his disciples not to be sad and be happy he is going home to be with the Father. I have to admit, I have tears in my eyes.

@EHLOCALz I agree.. I love the tune and the words.. but Kenny made one mistake.. He made his point already about 3/4 of the song.. With other words.. the song is a string of repeating and repeating.. and so it gets... boring..

To be exact, The song that is played when someone gets voted off American Idol is This song but without Kenny Loggins. It's called 'Celebrate Me Home' by Ruben Studdard.
