@PBFR91 You stole the words right out of my mouth!! She is so misused and in some episodes she only has like 2 scenes and 3 lines each. She has so much more talent than that....

By the way, it' really annoying to see Vanessa's acting talents so underrated in Desperate Housewives. Without trying to replace Sheridan's character, they could've come up with a real storyline for her, but instead of, we just get some mini-stories with her which don't really put her into the spotlights. She had a true interesting role in Ugly Betty, she was fantastic. I could murder Marc Cherry for all the mistakes he's done. Still like the show though ...

@garylrollins I totally agree ... And I honestly don't get it. When you see the audiences, people only watch detective shows, which are all the same ( to me ) : NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles, The Mentalist, CSI ... I mean don't we have enough of these shows ?? And now we have another one : Body Of Proof, which is even more boring and cold. When you see one single episode of these shows, we've seen all of them, what's the point ?

With so much jejune programming on TV, you would think that a well-written, well- acted, highly original looking and sophisticated comedy (which, to me, is more gut-wrenching drama then comedy) would appeal to the viewers. But, I guess "Ugly Betty" is too complex a show for the people's attention span. And, as far as Ms. Williams' performance during the course of the series- she's been superlative. But then, everything she does is so. Vanessa is the consummate performer. - Gary L. Rollins
