I just love that "realistic" entry scene, no backpack, few (if any, picture is very nlurry) spare mags. This must be raygun running on batteries, like in "the Forbidden Planet" movie. 8D

That could be done partially because of a strange (from European and Russian point of view) decision to use "assault weapon" not as a technical term, but something to be decided by lawyers and politicians, even going to point where "AS" substitutes automatic weapon while there is no one, like shotgun you mentioned.

So messing up "weapon" with "rifle" is just a small step beyond that... well.. beyond reason, but who needs logic when you got laws like that? 8D

I wrote a paper about it last year, it was analyzing trends in violnece and that was one of the interesting pieces of info I found. A lot of the reports cited california as a source for their information, which could make sense with their mexi border.
